Jump Recruitment is seeking a Branch Manager on behalf of our client. The Branch Manager exemplifies what it means to deliver exceptionally high-quality service to clients and confidently oversees the day-to-day operations of the retail branch. The Branch Manager leads by example and has a passion for building and developing a team that empowers employees to positively contribute to the success of the branch and organization. Having proven leadership and business development skills, the Branch Manager establishes key business and community partnerships in support of organizational growth and the financial well-being of the communities we serve
What you will be doing:
- Providing regularly scheduled coaching sessions aimed to build employee capability, drive accountability to increase performance and support service excellence
- Planning and implementing activities to ensure individual and branch goals are being met or exceeded; referrals are being made to all lines of business; and employees are proactively pursuing new business opportunities and retaining existing business
- Hosting engaging weekly meetings to build the team, providing updates on corporate initiatives, enhancing knowledge, reporting campaign results, and other sales and service activities
- Motivating employees through the effective development and implementation of in branch reward and recognition to drive specific sales or budget targets
- Engaging with internal and external partners and networks to identify business opportunities
- Fostering an environment that gives employees the flexibility to build loyal and trustworthy relationships with clients through the consistent delivery of exceptional service and customized financial solutions
- Building the team’s understanding of client needs and ensuring there is a focus on providing consistently positive client experience
- Reviewing annual Client Satisfaction Surveys and use as a tool to identify areas to improve client service
- Adhering to institution robbery procedures and branch security measures
- Actioning issues or concerns arising from internal or external reviews and audits
- Creating a healthy work environment that enhances the motivation and commitment of employees
What you will bring:
- Post secondary education combined with previous managerial experience
- Financial service industry experience preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with strong leadership skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional client relationships
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
- Thorough working knowledge of banking and customer service software considered an asset
