Jump Recruitment Specialists have partnered with C&W Industrial Fabrication & Marine Equipment Ltd. in their search for a full-time permanent, Laser and Waterjet Operator to join their fabrication team.
WHO THEY ARE:
C&W Industrial is a local leader in the design and manufacturing of processing equipment for the food and beverage industries. C&W also produces specialized products for the offshore oil and gas sector, as well as a line of aluminum boats.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Laser and Waterjet Operator will be a valuable member to the fabrication team. The role will involve operating a CNC laser and waterjet cutting machine to produce high-quality parts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reading shop drawings
- Working with AutoCAD to prepare drawings for nesting
- Nesting parts for laser/waterjet cutting using nesting software
- Loading/Unloading material and machine operation
- Assist with operation of Press Brake
- Equipment maintenance
- Follow all quality and safety standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or suitable experience in a similar position
- Experience with AutoCAD
