We have immediate openings for experienced Vehicle Fire Suppression Technicians in Sudbury, ON.
Our Vehicle Fire Suppression Technicians are responsible for delivering in-field fire services such as installing, inspecting, maintaining, modifying, and servicing fire protection equipment and fire suppression systems at commercial, industrial, and institutional sites.
Some of the additional expectations of this role include:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, specifications, schematics, and operational/product manuals
- Determining specific solutions and recommendations for customers
- Preparing materials for daily execution of assigned work orders
- Completing daily reports of completed work orders and activities
- Ensuring safe work practices are followed and that safety leadership is demonstrated in all aspects of the job
- Mentoring other team members, including trainees, as assigned
The successful candidate would bring a variety of competencies to the role, including:

- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients
- Flexibility to address changing situations/priorities and solve problems as they evolve
They must also possess the following experience and training credentials:
- 2+ years of field experience installing, inspecting, maintaining, modifying, and servicing fire suppression systems
- Manufacturer training in vehicle suppression systems
- Valid driver’s license
Applicants must be able to travel to and work out of remote client sites. Overtime and overnight travel will be required; therefore, hours of work/schedule will vary.
