About the Role:
We’re seeking a dynamic, high-performing leader to oversee operations at our Triton seafood processing plant. This facility produces snow crab and pelagic species for international markets, and plays a vital role in supporting local jobs and Newfoundland’s seafood industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of plant performance to ensure production goals are achieved safely and efficiently.
- Lead, coach, and inspire a diverse team of employees.
- Collaborate closely with senior management to drive operational excellence.
- Foster a positive, safe, and team-oriented work culture.
- This is a hands-on leadership role where you can make a tangible impact — both in the workplace and the community.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a food-related or manufacturing field.
- Proven managerial experience with the ability to lead teams and projects to success.
- Experience managing in a unionized environment considered an asset.
- Strong decision-making, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and related software.
