Landwash Brewery
On behalf of our client, Landwash Brewery, Jump Recruitment is seeking a results-driven Director of Sales & Growth to join their team located in Mount Pearl, NL.
The Director of Sales & Growth will spearhead sales strategies and drive growth. The role will be responsible for executing and managing the go-to-market strategy, manage the sales team and build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, and interest and/or understanding of the craft beer industry, and bring a network of contacts.

As they continue to grow and expand their reach, they are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Director of Sales & Growth to join the team and drive the sales strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the brewery’s comprehensive sales and marketing strategy that aligns with the long-term goals and growth objectives of the company
- Lead, mentor and manage the sales, marketing and hospitality teams to maximize performance and growth while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
- Set clear performance expectations with the team including regular performance reviews with constructive feedback and continuous improvement
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company’s growth strategy
- Work closely with the production team to align sales forecasts with production planning and inventory management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers and key accounts
- Monitor and analyze sales data to track performance and regularly report on sales figures, market trends and competitor insights
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and sales data to optimize go-to-market strategies
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implements effective promotional campaigns that build brand awareness and drive consumer engagement across all channels
- Manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
- Oversee brand management, ensuring that all marketing activities and communications across all channels are aligned with Landwash Brewery’s brand identify and values
- Represent Landwash Brewery at industry events, trade shows, and local community events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in sales, marketing or a related field
- Experience in sales with a demonstrated ability to achieve targets and drive revenue growth
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to effectively manage and motivate a team to achieve goals
- Ability to analyze and interpret sales data and market trends
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers and accounts
- Proven ability to take initiative, think proactively and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and a passion for the craft beer industry, particularly within Newfoundland and Labrador and Atlantic Canada, would be an asset
