Jump Recruitment is currently seeking Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) candidates for permanent, full-time roles in New Brunswick!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing support to clients by ensuring their needs are met, identifying key risks and ways to deliver added value, building and maintaining strong relationships, and providing advice, recommendations, and solutions.
  • Analyze information and provide valuable solutions to a client’s opportunities and challenges.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute audits, review engagements, and Notice to Reader files.
  • Analyze, prepare, and file corporate and personal income tax returns, as well as trust returns.
  • Organize, prepare, and file HST returns, and other government filings as required.
  • Responsible for the completion of audits, compliance tax engagements, budgeting, internal controls, and financial and accounting transactions.
  • Coach and support junior team members in meeting client and self-development expectations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation
  • Post-secondary education in finance and/or accounting.
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting firms (preferably as a CPA)
  • 3+ years of Canadian tax experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of financial statements and taxes.
  • Knowledge and experience working with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) including strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines within budget.
  • Positive attitude and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in the close-knit team environment.
  • Experience with MS Office, Sage, Profile, Cantax, and CaseWare would be considered an asset.
